Henan a province in the PRC, is located in the middle of the country. The name Henan translates into south of the
yellow river. Henan was the core of
ancient China for at least the first half of their history. It is still seen as the hub of Chinese tradition and history and with around 100 million people living in the province, it is also the most populated. Zhengzhou is the provinces capital and also the transportation hub since the inception of the Pingham Railway. The climate of Henan is temperate continental with cold winters and warm tropical summers where most of the rainfalls occur.
